
Sony has unveiled the FX5, a new full-frame Cinema Line camera that slots in between the FX3 and the FX6 and brings features previously reserved for the VENICE 2 and BURANO into a compact body. Headline specs include a newly developed 16.6MP fully stacked sensor, 5K open gate recording, internal 16-bit X-OCN RAW with two new compression flavors, three base ISOs, and 4K at up to 240 frames per second.
